Report to the Shop Foreman and take fabrication projects from blueprint to finished product.
Weldco-Beales Manufacturing produces heavy equipment attachments for construction, forestry, mining, scrap recycling, and resource industries.
What you will do
- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications and follow layouts, drawings, and work orders.
- Weld heavy equipment attachments and components using MCAW and FCAW.
- Ensure product quality and workmanship throughout manufacturing and on finished goods.
- Meet customer cost, quality, and schedule expectations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and participate in the WBM Safety Program.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of fabrication or welding experience.
- Red Seal certification or an equivalent fabrication or welding certification is an asset.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous quality and an excellent safety record.
- Be proficient with tools common to a fabrication shop.
- Have communication, problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Be able to lift items weighing up to 35 kg.
