Fabrication duties
- Read and interpret blueprints; plan task sequences and assemble parts according to drawings.
- Fabricate steel weldments with measuring instruments and fit metal sections and plates into complete units or sub-units.
- Tack-weld components in preparation for a welder to finish the process.
- Use tools and hand grinders and ensure product quality and workmanship meet customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment; participate in the company safety program.
- Meet applicable cost, quality, and schedule expectations and carry out other assigned duties.
Candidate qualifications
- At least 3 years of related experience.
- Interpersonal skills to collaborate with others.
- Time-management skills to complete work and meet deadlines.
- Organizational skills to plan and coordinate work logically.
- Analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions, or seek supervisor guidance.
