Warehouse Team Leader

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch activities.
• Create SOPs and lead, train, and manage warehouse associates and operators.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation.
• Monitor stock levels and prevent overstocking, stockouts, and shrinkage.
• Ensure order fulfillment meets SLAs and customer or delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, supply chain teams, vendors, and transporters.
• Enforce safety, housekeeping, 5S, and compliance procedures.
• Optimize layout and FIFO/FEFO storage systems.
• Track warehouse KPIs and report performance to management.
• Use Odoo ERP for stock updates, order processing, and reporting.
• Resolve daily operational issues and escalate critical concerns.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven warehouse management, inventory control, and supply chain operations experience.
• FMCG industry experience is described as mandatory/highly preferred.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, and stock reconciliation.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
• Familiarity with WMS, ERP, or inventory software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
• Understanding of warehouse safety standards and compliance.
• Communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced operations under pressure.
• Basic MS Excel or Office proficiency for reporting and data tracking.

Educational Qualification

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; supply chain, logistics, or business administration is preferred.

Schedule and Other Requirements

• Immediate joiners only.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends or peak periods when required.
• The role requires physical fitness and the ability to work in a warehouse environment.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
