Financial Analyst (FPA) - Ecommerce

Role Summary

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Develop and maintain financial models for business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify variances and key drivers.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and board reviews.

Feasibility and Strategic Analysis

• Conduct feasibility studies for projects, expansions, capital investments, and product lines.
• Perform cost-benefit analysis, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback period calculations.
• Assess financial risks and opportunities associated with new business initiatives.
• Support due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships as required.

Financial Management

• Oversee cash flow planning, working capital management, and capital expenditure planning.
• Negotiate banking facilities, credit lines, term loans, and other banking arrangements.
• Manage banking relationships, facility renewals, renegotiations, and covenant compliance.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for planning and reporting.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Procurement, Inventory, and other teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors affecting business performance.

Compliance and Leadership

• Ensure financial planning processes comply with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audits with relevant planning documentation and analysis.
• Maintain strong internal controls over financial planning and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to translate business strategy into financial plans.
• Present financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior finance team members as applicable.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Excellent knowledge of FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong expertise in financial modeling and long-term feasibility studies.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP and BI or dashboarding tools such as Power BI or Tableau is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating banking facilities, credit lines, and loan terms.
• Proficiency in building and maintaining financial dashboards.
• Ability to learn and use financial systems, automation tools, and data analytics platforms.
• High integrity and professional ethics.

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance, CA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional certification.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience in FP&A and corporate finance.
• A proven track record of conducting feasibility studies and supporting strategic investment decisions.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 10,000–AED 12,000 per month.
