Finance Team Leader

Role Overview

Financial Controllership and Reporting

• Lead the finance and accounting function, including local finance teams and shared service center operations.
• Ensure accurate period-end closing, books of accounts, and internal and external reporting under IFRS and local GAAP.
• Prepare consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports across multiple legal entities.
• Present periodic financial performance and variance analysis to management and regional stakeholders.

Treasury and Cash Management

• Manage daily cash and liquidity positions across multiple geographies.
• Monitor working capital, improve cash conversion cycles, and oversee operational banking relationships.
• Develop and execute FX risk management and hedging strategies where applicable.
• Oversee customer credit limits and collections for e-commerce and B2B FMCG distribution activities.

Business Controlling and FP&A

• Lead business planning, budgeting, and target setting across FMCG and e-commerce product lines and channels.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and operations on performance, profitability, and margin management.
• Provide financial insights for pricing, promotions, trade spend, and channel profitability decisions.
• Monitor project and customer-level profitability against business objectives.

Audit, Risk, and Governance

• Lead internal audit planning and execution in line with regulatory requirements and corporate governance standards.
• Design and improve standard operating procedures and internal controls.
• Manage the Delegation of Authority framework and oversee transfer pricing compliance where applicable.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.

Team and Stakeholder Management

• Supervise and mentor finance team members while promoting accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors to complete audits on time.
• Act as a liaison between finance and other business functions.
• Drive process digitization and automation to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 16,000 to AED 18,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing finance operations supported by a shared service center across diverse geographies.
• Strong financial controllership, business partnering, and governance expertise.
• Experience overseeing multi-country, multi-entity finance and accounting operations.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Ability to lead budgeting, business planning, target setting, and profitability analysis across FMCG and e-commerce channels.
• Ability to supervise and mentor finance team members and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors.
