Role purpose
Assist in serving quality food and beverage products to customers, developing products and services, and responding to guest requests and problems.
Essential functions
- Present a pleasant and professional image and manage guests' cultural needs and expectations.
- Upsell and identify additional revenue opportunities; follow billing policies and procedures.
- Deliver orders accurately and promptly; assist with service logistics, consistency, quantity, and presentation.
- Assist Assistant Venue Managers in training new team members and complete Progress Training activities.
- Support departmental objectives, teamwork, and waste reduction.
Knowledge and skills
- Understand and communicate in the primary language(s) used in the workplace; have good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have basic knowledge of hotel food and beverage operations, food and alcoholic beverages, and basic computation.
- Follow health, safety, and fire regulations; use equipment safely and maintain hygiene and a clean work area.
Qualification standards
- A high school degree is required.

Work conditions
- Work may include holidays, weekends, non-day shifts, overnight shifts, and extended hours.

- The role requires wearing a full uniform and following the hotel's grooming, attire, jewelry, and safety policies.
