Spa Therapist & Nail Technician

Position purpose

Treatment and guest care

• Perform treatments to spa protocols and tailor them to client needs; conduct consultations to identify medical history and concerns.
• Recommend aftercare, products, and ongoing treatment programmes, and maintain knowledge of treatments, packages, products, and promotions.
• Protect the guest experience through attentive service, confidentiality, accurate guest profiles, and prompt reporting of complaints.

Sales and spa operations

• Meet retail sales targets, encourage repeat visits, cross-sell spa services, participate in events, and record daily sales accurately.
• Keep treatment areas, equipment, products, and linens clean, stocked, sterilized, and organized.
• Follow room opening and closing procedures, report maintenance issues, and assist with reception or spa attendant duties when needed.
• Attend required training and follow health, safety, hygiene, and personal presentation standards.

Skills and experience

• At least five years of experience in the spa and fitness industry.
• Ability to speak and write in English and at least one additional language.
• Good understanding of marketing, strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting, and strong sales skills to drive memberships.
• Ability to assist guests with inquiries; knowledge of hotel computer systems and related IT applications.
