Key responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages according to hotel and restaurant service standards.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints to support guest satisfaction.
- Set tables with appropriate cutlery, glassware, napkins, and tableware.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and service areas.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
- Check food presentation and order accuracy before serving.
- Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties; upsell items and promotions where appropriate.
Skills and qualifications
- Previous waiter experience in a hotel or restaurant is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures.
- Strong teamwork and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,100–1,300 per month.
