Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily engineering and maintenance activities.
- Lead and manage engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff; train and support team members.
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure preventive maintenance is completed.
- Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational problems.
- Enforce workplace safety policies and engineering standards; comply with local regulations and company procedures.
- Prepare maintenance schedules, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other departments.
- Monitor inventory and order engineering materials or spare parts.
Required skills and qualifications
- Have proven experience in engineering supervision or maintenance management.
- Have knowledge of engineering systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Be able to read technical drawings and reports.
- Demonstrate leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Be proficient in MS Office and maintenance management systems.
- Have strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, facilities management, hospitality, or industrial operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is preferred.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and contractors is preferred.
Working conditions
- Work may take place in an office, factory, plant, construction site, or facility environment.
- The role may involve shift work, emergency response, and site inspections.
- Work combines desk duties with field supervision; the stated work location is in person.
