BEAMS is seeking a Waiter / Beverage Attendant for ZUIKOAN in Abu Dhabi.
The role delivers attentive, thoughtful, and culturally respectful food and non-alcoholic beverage service.
The attendant manages the guest journey from welcome and seating through menu guidance, ordering, service, payment, and farewell.
Guest service and operations
- Welcome and seat guests, guide them through the menu, and manage reservations, waitlists, tables, and takeaway orders.
- Enter orders accurately, including special requests and allergen information.
- Prepare approved Japanese tea, coffee where applicable, and soft drinks; serve food and desserts with care.
- Monitor tables, pace service, anticipate guest needs, and maintain presentation standards.
- Process cash and card payments accurately using approved POS access.
- Maintain dining, beverage-station, and service-area cleanliness; record waste, breakage, and order errors.
- Coordinate with Kitchen and F&B teams; refer refunds, discounts, voids, and compensation requests to the manager.
- Support events, launches, and other operational activities when required.
Candidate requirements
- Required food-safety training.
- Professional English communication skills.
- Warm, confident guest communication and strong attention to menu and allergen accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of non-alcoholic beverage preparation; comfort using POS systems and handling payments.
- Teamwork, service-timing ability, professional presentation, and genuine interest in hospitality.
- Three or more years of café, restaurant, hotel, or tea-service experience is preferred; strong entry-level candidates may also be considered.
- A high school diploma is preferred; additional languages are an advantage.
Service standards and results
- Maintain guest satisfaction and hospitality standards, accurate orders and allergen information, and appropriate service timing.
- Support beverage quality and consistency, POS accuracy, and cleanliness of dining and service stations.
Working conditions
- Work is shift-based and involves table service, standing, walking, and carrying trays.
- Duties include handling hot drinks and breakable items, cleaning, and service-station work.
- Events, launches, and stock counts may be required.
Reporting and financial accountability
Reports to the Assistant Manager – F&B and works closely with the Kitchen Team and Retail Team.
An experienced team member may be designated as Service Shift Leader.
Accurately enter orders, process payments, and control beverage portions and waste; there is no independent authority to approve discounts, refunds, or compensation.
