The role strengthens the compliance framework and supports business growth using a risk-based approach.
Responsibilities
- Execute Financial Crime Compliance activities under Group Compliance standards and AML/CFT/CPF requirements.
- Conduct CDD, EDD, sanctions screening, and customer risk assessments; identify, escalate, and report suspicious transactions.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and EWRA/BRA risk assessments; support framework implementation and improvement across C2i and subsidiaries.
- Maintain documentation, record retention, and audit trails; prepare reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Support audits, regulatory inspections, and remediation; deliver compliance training and awareness sessions.
- Contribute to automation and digital initiatives, including Salesforce and screening tools.
- Liaise with regulators, auditors, consultants, and internal teams; support the annual Compliance Plan and ad hoc initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in AML/CFT or Financial Crime Compliance.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance best practices; experience with World-Check or similar screening systems.
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, law, accounting, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Relevant compliance certifications are preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Fluent English; Arabic is a plus.
Technical skills
- Strong presentation and reporting capabilities.
