The waiter role covers guest service, table management, order handling, sales, hygiene, payment processing, and teamwork.
Guest service
- Greet and escort guests to assigned tables; present menus, explain specials, and answer menu questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, confirm them with guests, serve promptly, and check satisfaction.
- Handle complaints politely and escalate when needed.
Table and order management
- Set up tables with linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments; keep tables clean and organized.
- Clear plates and reset tables after guests leave.
- Enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with the kitchen and bar for timely preparation.
- Serve dishes to the correct guests according to service sequence standards.
Sales and payments
- Suggest appetizers, beverages, desserts, and other additional items; promote special dishes and seasonal offers.
- Present bills, process cash, card, or digital payments, and return change or receipts accurately.
Hygiene and teamwork
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards, maintain personal grooming and a clean uniform, and report hazards or broken equipment.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods and communicate customer needs to kitchen and service teams.
Experience
- Three years of waiter experience required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 1,250 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person.
