Beverage preparation and service
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages to recipes and presentation standards; operate espresso, grinding, blending, and brewing equipment safely.
- Maintain beverage consistency, create latte art, prepare takeaway orders, and recommend drinks to guests.
- Greet guests, take accurate orders, explain beverage options, and handle beverage complaints with the supervisor or manager.
- Coordinate dine-in orders and special requests with service and kitchen teams; assist service staff during busy periods.
Station operations and quality
- Keep the barista counter, coffee station, and service area clean and organized; follow bar opening and closing procedures.
- Clean and calibrate equipment, label and store ingredients, and maintain correct storage temperatures.
- Monitor supplies, report low stock, rotate stock using FIFO, and assist with inventory checks.
- Taste-test beverages and check grind size, milk texture, extraction time, and supply consistency.
Safety, payments, and team support
- Follow Dubai Municipality hygiene and food-safety standards, maintain personal hygiene and a clean uniform, and report maintenance or pest issues.
- Enter orders into the POS system and assist with billing, payments, receipts, and accurate order delivery.
- Promote signature drinks, seasonal beverages, and dessert pairings; assist with catering setups and beverage-related operational tasks.
- Participate in daily briefings and staff training.
Experience
- At least 3 years of barista experience is required.
Pay and benefits
- Pay is AED 1,800–2,000 per month.
- Food and accommodation are provided by the company.
Work location
- The role is in person.
