The accountant will handle daily accounting operations using Tally, maintain and reconcile financial records, process transactions, and prepare reports.
The role supports accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with controls and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation using Tally.
- Reconcile accounts and balance sheets to maintain accurate, consistent financial data.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts, and enter transactions in Tally.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct periodic audits and assist with external audit preparation.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather and verify financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Tally Accountant certification or equivalent Tally certification.
- Proven accountant and Tally experience, including at least 3 years in accounting and 3 years using Tally.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Attention to detail, accurate financial record-keeping, and strong organization and time management.
- Three years of Focus experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 per month.
