Seeking a Senior Engineer to work as a Unity Developer.
Plan and implement functionality, build code, identify performance bottlenecks, and help ensure finished-product quality.
Build patches and install updates, and collaborate with engineers, architects, and the product owner on short- and long-term tasks.
Responsibilities
- Establish strategy and development pipelines.
- Create high-level designs and plan and implement game functionality.
- Design and build game code.
- Identify and fix code errors and game bottlenecks.
- Test game functionality and theme dynamics.
- Ensure products conform to high industry standards.
- Design and build game patches and upgrades.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and the product owner to identify short- and long-term tasks.
- Review implementations to ensure they match coding guidelines and architecture.
Qualifications
- At least six years of experience as a Unity developer.
- In-depth knowledge of Unity and best practices, including prefabs, asset bundles, and organized scene hierarchy.
- Extensive experience with mobile game development.
- Experience with memory and space optimization.
- Knowledge of scripting, animation, session management, and textures.
- Good communication and troubleshooting skills, and excellent attention to detail.
Advantages
- AAA game title experience is an advantage.
- Experience building a project from scratch to production is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git version control is an advantage.
