Own day-to-day IT end to end for the team, covering laptops, accounts, Microsoft 365, device management, and the support queue.
The role is based with the company's team in Abu Dhabi and is intended to establish effective IT practices and solve root causes.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line office IT support for laptops, Wi-Fi, peripherals, and account access.
- Administer Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and user accounts.
- Manage MDM device provisioning, security, patching, and compliance.
- Triage, track, and close support tickets using an ITSM tool.
- Set up hardware and accounts for onboarding and remove access during offboarding.
- Maintain meeting room technology, printers, and network hardware.
- Track hardware, licenses, and software subscriptions.
- Document fixes, processes, and user guides.
- Coordinate hardware procurement, warranties, and repairs with vendors.
- Resolve recurring issues at their underlying cause.
Required qualifications
- Hands-on desktop and end-user support experience.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, and administrative functions.
- Experience managing devices through an MDM platform.
- Experience working within an ITSM tool and process.
- Clear and confident English communication.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to prioritize competing requests.
- Proactive approach and genuine ownership of supported systems.
- Based in Abu Dhabi or able to relocate there.
Nice to have
- On-premise data centre management experience.
- Networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, VLANs, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Basic cloud knowledge, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Experience supporting engineering, robotics, or hardware teams.
- Familiarity with automation scripting such as PowerShell.
Workplace
- The company team and IT operations are based in an office in Abu Dhabi.
