Fleet and driver management
- Monitor daily vehicle and transportation operations, optimize fleet and driver utilization, and prepare vehicle allocation plans.
- Assign drivers to vehicles and projects; verify licenses, permits, and competency records; maintain attendance, overtime, and duty schedules.
- Conduct driver orientation and safe-driving toolbox talks, and monitor driver behavior and policy compliance.
- Maintain fleet records, including registration, insurance, permits, inspection certificates, maintenance logs, and driver records.
Maintenance and transport coordination
- Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs, coordinate servicing with workshops, and arrange corrective action for breakdowns.
- Plan transport for staff, materials, and equipment; monitor vehicle movements and route efficiency; respond to operational changes.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery and coordinate transportation requirements with project teams.
Fuel, safety and reporting
- Track vehicle performance, fuel consumption, mileage, utilization, and operational costs; investigate unusual fuel use and recommend savings.
- Ensure road-safety and HSE compliance, conduct vehicle safety inspections, and investigate accidents and prepare incident reports.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly fleet reports and maintain traffic-fine records and settlement.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction or contracting industry.
- 2–4 years of fleet coordination or transportation operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, insurance renewals, and RTA compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, log tracking, and basic reporting.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills; able to work under pressure and manage multiple daily tasks.
- UAE experience preferred; a valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
Pay
- AED 1,900–5,000 per month.
