Project delivery and technical review
- Plan, organize, and oversee electrical works against project specifications, drawings, client requirements, and approved schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams to achieve project milestones.
- Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance.
- Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions during execution.
Site, quality, and safety
- Supervise site electrical engineers, supervisors, chargehands, and electricians; monitor daily work and workmanship.
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, and equipment are available on site.
- Ensure installations comply with approved drawings and quality standards; conduct inspections with consultants and clients.
- Monitor testing and commissioning; implement HSE requirements, conduct toolbox talks, and enforce safe practices.
Coordination and materials
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams and resolve interface and clash issues.
- Attend meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Review material requirements, verify technical compliance, coordinate procurement, and monitor scheduled deliveries.
Reporting and team leadership
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and maintain inspection, testing, and commissioning records.
- Monitor productivity and report potential delays or risks.
- Mentor junior engineers and site staff, conduct performance evaluations, and provide technical guidance.
- Support recruitment and training of electrical personnel when required.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8–15 years of experience in MEP contracting projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, DEWA regulations, and MEP coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Pay
- AED 5,700–18,000 per month.
