The Third Key Holder assists with visual, merchandising, and marketing directives and collaborates with management on store and stockroom operations.
The role is responsible for store operations when team leaders are absent.
Responsibilities
- Oversee store operations when the Store Manager and Assistant Manager are absent, including opening and closing, cleanliness, restocking, merchandising, customer service, and team supervision.
- Create a friendly customer environment by greeting, acknowledging, and re-approaching customers and being knowledgeable about products.
- Process purchases at the register.
- Follow company policies and support the Store Manager in ensuring standards are followed in accordance with the employee manual.
- Perform other related duties as directed by the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- At least one year of retail experience.
- High school diploma is an asset.
- Excellent selling and customer service abilities.
- Strong time-management and priority-setting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks and take ownership.
- Ability to lead a team in a positive and inclusive manner.
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder.
- Ability to move, lift, and handle merchandise and fixture boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.
