The role
The Third Key Holder, Visual, carries out visual, merchandising, and marketing directives and collaborates with management on store and stockroom operations.
In the absence of team leaders, the role is responsible for store operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversees store operations, including opening and closing, cleanliness, restocking, merchandising, customer service, and team supervision.
- Creates a friendly customer environment by greeting and acknowledging customers, re-approaching them, and maintaining product knowledge.
- Processes purchases at the register.
- Follows company policies and supports the Store Manager in ensuring company standards are followed.
- Performs other related duties as directed by the Store Manager.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of retail experience.
- Excellent selling and customer service abilities.
- Strong time management, priority-setting, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to delegate tasks, take ownership, and lead a team in a positive and inclusive manner.
- High school diploma is an asset.
Physical requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods and climb a ladder.
- Ability to move, lift, and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds.
