Expleo seeks Test Managers and Programme Test Managers to manage end-to-end testing programmes across financial services, insurance, banking, retail, and energy and utilities.
The role directs software testing lifecycles for complex transformation programmes, including work in the insurance domain.
Testing leadership and governance
- Own resourcing and planning for IT testing and take responsibility for testing activities.
- Design overall test plans, testing processes, test asset standards, and test environments that reflect business requirements.
- Build and implement independent testing governance frameworks and manage delivery against cost, time, and resource budgets.
Client consulting and delivery
- Review client testing practices and recommend short- and long-term improvements to documentation and processes.
- Guide clients on test techniques, phases, tooling, and quality assurance solutions; manage implementation of recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering, communicate project risk, and coordinate schedules, work, and resources.
Team and programme management
- Direct teams on complex programmes, plan resource needs, manage change, and guide corrective or preventative actions.
- Contribute to proof-of-concept exercises and pre-sales opportunities, and identify ways to expand client assignments.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- ISTQB qualification is required; ISTQB Advanced is desirable.
- Strong QA methodology knowledge, specialist QA management expertise, application and technology knowledge, and experience managing teams and resources.
- Experience with change control, technical management, and formal problem-solving methods.
Skills
- Strong client-facing advisory and communication skills, people management, teamwork, emotional intelligence, and self-management.
- Complex IT programme experience in insurance or London Markets is advantageous.
