Business Analyst – Product & Software Development

Role overview

Business analysis and requirements

• Lead business analysis across products; elicit, analyze, document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
• Produce functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria; maintain traceability and manage requirement changes.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery; challenge requirements to address underlying business needs.

Process analysis and software delivery

• Document current-state processes and design future-state processes; identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate throughout discovery, development, testing and release; clarify requirements with developers and testers.
• Define business rules, workflows, user interactions, data requirements and system responses; create wireframes and lightweight solution designs.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demonstrations and reviews where required.

Product planning and AI-enabled solutions

• Support product roadmaps, feature prioritization and development plans across multiple products.
• Assess proposed changes for value, complexity, dependencies and impact; identify opportunities for shared capabilities.
• Work with an AI technology partner to identify use cases and define practical AI-enabled product and client solutions.

Requirements

• Experienced Business Analyst able to take ownership of requirements across multiple products and development squads.
• Experience eliciting and translating business and client needs into actionable requirements for software delivery.
• Ability to analyze and improve business processes and produce detailed functional specifications and wireframe solution designs.
• Ability to work with Product Managers, development teams, business stakeholders and an AI technology partner.
