Senior Test Engineer role for a trade finance banking project, focused on the TI+ application.
Testing responsibilities
- Analyze business and functional requirements for trade finance products, including letters of credit, bank guarantees, standby letters of credit, bills, collections, export/import financing, and supply chain finance.
- Prepare test strategies, scenarios, and cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of TI+ modules.
- Validate end-to-end TI+ processing for product creation and amendments, document checking and discrepancies, charges and commissions, SWIFT messages, settlements, accounting entries, workflow approvals, and user roles.
- Test SWIFT MT7xx, MT4xx, and MT1xx messages for correct formatting and mapping.
- Validate EOD/BOD processing, interest calculations, charge postings, and general ledger entries.
Qualifications and essential skills
- UG or PG qualification.
- Hands-on experience with Misys/Finastra TI+ (Trade Innovation Plus) is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of trade finance operations and ICC rules, including UCP 600, URDG, URC, and ISP98.
- Experience testing SWIFT messages and payment flows.
- 3–8 years of experience in functional testing for trade finance systems.
Desired skill
- Finacle 11x experience is desired.
