Prepare electrical-work bids, estimates, and technical and commercial offers.
What you will do
- Study enquiry packages, including drawings, technical specifications, bills of quantities, and commercial terms.
- Measure quantities from electrical layouts and prepare priced bills of quantities.
- Build up costs for materials, manpower, plant, and site overheads.
- Collect vendor and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets.
- Assemble technical and commercial offers with deviations, assumptions, and clarifications.
- Query clients and consultants during bidding and follow up on responses.
- Track bids, maintain a pricing library, and assist operations with pricing awarded-project variations.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least two years of estimation and bid-preparation experience for electrical works.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and prepare bills of quantities and cost estimates.
- Strong Excel skills and clear English communication.
- Utility or power-sector project experience, ideally with TAQA, is an advantage.
- Take-off software or AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
- Organized, with the ability to manage multiple bids against tight deadlines.
Pay
- AED 2,300 to AED 6,000 per month.
