Role responsibilities
- Manage laying and jointing of HDPE and ductile iron pipelines.
- Supervise construction of concrete duct banks and valve chambers.
- Carry out pipeline pressure testing with a strong focus on safe work practices.
- Oversee installation of air-release and washout valve assemblies.
- Check site work against approved drawings, project specifications, and utility standards.
- Liaise with consultants, utility representatives, subcontractors, and the site team.
- Submit daily reports, inspection requests, and testing documentation.
- Promote and follow health and safety procedures on site.
What the employer is looking for
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3 to 7 years of experience on water infrastructure or utility pipeline projects; regional experience is preferred.
- Understanding of utility authority standards such as TAQA, DEWA, or SEWA.
- TAQA competency certification is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Valid UAE driving licence.
Pay
- AED 2,000 to AED 11,000 per month.
