Role Overview

Engineering and Technical Office

• Develop, review, and optimize discipline-specific designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and engineering assessments.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for design integration and constructability.
• Ensure compliance with international codes, client specifications, and project quality standards.

Installation and Project Execution

• Support and oversee construction, installation, and project execution activities.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors for quality workmanship, safety compliance, and schedule adherence.
• Perform site inspections and technical evaluations against approved designs and specifications.
• Assist with technical challenges during project execution.

Testing and Commissioning

• Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Troubleshoot technical and operational issues during startup and commissioning.
• Prepare testing documentation, reports, and handover packages.
• Support client inspections and project acceptance.

Maintenance and Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise for operational and maintenance activities.
• Investigate system failures and identify root causes for corrective action.
• Support preventive maintenance and recommend engineering improvements.

Coordination and Compliance

• Coordinate with engineering, construction, QA/QC, HSE, procurement, and project management teams.
• Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain engineering records, reports, calculations, inspections, and project documentation.
• Support audits, inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.

Experience

• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in engineering or technical office functions.
• Relevant sectors include Oil & Gas, EPC, petrochemical, energy, power, industrial, and heavy construction.
• Experience supporting projects from engineering and design through construction, commissioning, and handover is required.
• Experience on large-scale multidisciplinary projects is preferred.

Education and Certifications

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering with a piping focus, or a related discipline is required.
• A master's degree or relevant specialization is advantageous.
• Professional Engineering License, Chartered Engineer, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety certification is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with international codes and regulations for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Strong project coordination, technical leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Experience using engineering and project management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to quality and safety.
