Role overview

Lifting operations and planning

• Lead lifting and rigging across project sites; coordinate multiple work fronts and optimize equipment, personnel, and resources.
• Develop lifting strategies, integrate lifting needs into project schedules, and participate in construction planning and constructability reviews.
• Review lifting methods and procedures, ensure operations are engineered and risk-assessed, and resolve technical issues.
• Oversee lifting plan preparation and implementation; review and approve complex and high-risk lifts and participate in readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, and project controls teams.

Safety, quality, and performance

• Manage lifting engineers, supervisors, riggers, and specialist crews; monitor competency, certifications, and equipment inspection and maintenance.
• Lead risk assessments and safety reviews and comply with ADNOC requirements, local regulations, and international lifting standards.
• Conduct lifting audits, maintain certification and operational records, and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor schedule and KPI performance; support forecasting, productivity improvement, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders; prepare performance reports and dashboards.
• Support training, mentoring, succession planning, and lessons learned; participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.

Experience and qualifications

• 12–15 years of construction and project execution experience, including at least 5 years dedicated to lifting and rigging.
• Project experience in Oil & Gas, Industrial, Power, Utilities, Infrastructure, or EPC environments.
• ADNOC, GCC, Brownfield, Greenfield, or large-scale project experience is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Appointed Person Certification or equivalent, Advanced Lifting & Rigging Certification, Lifting Operations Safety Certification, and relevant Lifting & Rigging certifications.
• Skills in lifting and rigging management, lift planning, risk assessment, construction methodology, resource management, safety leadership, compliance, and project coordination.
