Oversees contract management and procurement for major projects, particularly projects governed by Saudi government procurement regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Lead contract management and procurement activities for government projects.
- Manage procurement from tender announcement through evaluation, award, and contract signing.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi government procurement law and applicable procedures.
- Review tender documents, contract conditions, procurement submissions, and commercial documentation.
- Manage contract administration, variations, change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
- Develop and implement contract management procedures, policies, and best practices.
- Monitor contractual obligations and address commercial and contractual risks.
- Coordinate with clients, government entities, procurement teams, and project stakeholders on contractual matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 15 years of experience in contract management and procurement for government projects.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement processes, including tendering, evaluation, award, and contract signing.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi Government Tenders and Procurement Law and associated government procurement procedures.
- Experience in contract administration, tendering regulations, variations, change orders, claims, and commercial contract management.
- Previous experience working with government entities or organisations managing projects subject to Saudi government procurement regulations.
