Electrical Project Manager role in Saudi Arabia with Surbana Jurong, a consulting firm working across the built environment.
Leads HV and MV substation projects from design and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
Key responsibilities
- Lead delivery of HV and MV substation projects across Saudi Arabia.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Manage client, utility, contractor and stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, relevant standards and regulatory approvals.
- Monitor progress and report regularly to clients and management.
- Lead meetings, resolve technical and commercial issues, and support multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in electrical power or substation projects.
- Proven experience managing HV and MV substation projects.
- Strong knowledge of substations, protection and control systems, SCADA and associated infrastructure.
- Experience working with utilities, contractors and major infrastructure clients.
- Strong project management, leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Saudi regulations, utility requirements and approval processes is preferred.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
