The Role
Lead mechanical design and technical delivery for major multidisciplinary projects in the Middle East.
Develop and review mechanical designs, lead design activities, and coordinate mechanical services across disciplines to deliver technically robust and compliant solutions.
The role is based in Riyadh, KSA.
Experience and Qualifications
- 12+ years of relevant mechanical engineering design experience.
- Strong consultancy experience delivering medium- to large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience leading mechanical design from concept through detailed design and tender stages.
- Minimum 5 years of Middle East design experience; Saudi/GCC project experience is preferred.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, chilled water systems, ventilation, heating, plumbing and drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Experience preparing and reviewing design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
- Strong multidisciplinary coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of relevant international standards, codes, and Middle East regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and relevant mechanical design/calculation software.
- Professional registration or chartership is advantageous.
- Technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
