Technical Manager

Role Overview

Education and Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related major is required.
• An intermediate or above professional and technical title is required.
• A UAE Registered Structural Engineer qualification is required.
• Candidates must pass the Dubai local technical competence test.
• UAE Society of Engineers membership is preferred.

Experience Requirements

• At least 8 years of technical management experience in the construction industry is required.
• At least 3 years of technical management experience in Dubai residential construction projects is required.
• Experience leading technical planning, construction organization design, and complex technical problem solving for large-scale residential projects is required.
• Familiarity with Dubai architectural design codes, BIM application requirements, and local construction process standards is required.

Technical Management Duties

• Independently compile special construction plans and technical disclosure documents and guide on-site implementation.
• Review design drawings, manage technical changes, and provide on-site technical guidance.
• Manage technical demonstrations for local construction materials and alternative materials.
• Promote technological innovation to improve construction efficiency.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in construction technical management processes for residential projects is required.
• Experience with deep foundation pit and high-rise structure construction is required.
• CAD and BIM skills are required.
• Strong ability to respond to on-site technical problems is required.

Coordination and Leadership

• Coordinate technical teams and technical interfaces with design, construction, supervision, and local regulatory authorities.
• Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to technical issues.
• Keep current with local architectural technical codes and emerging industry technologies.

Languages

• English fluency is required as the working language.
• Basic Arabic proficiency is preferred.

Employment and Workplace

• The position is full-time.
