Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering and Automation, Water Supply and Drainage Science and Engineering, HVAC, or a related major.
- At least eight years of MEP installation engineering management experience, including at least three years of full-cycle MEP installation management on Dubai residential construction projects.
- Experience leading MEP installation on large residential projects, including villas and apartments, covering electrical, water supply and drainage, HVAC, fire protection and weak-current systems.
Local standards and delivery expertise
- Familiarity with Dubai MEP installation codes, fire safety standards and local power, water supply and drainage system connection requirements.
- Knowledge of local MEP equipment selection, procurement, installation and commissioning, and local subcontractor management.
- Proficient in technical management, scheduling and quality control; able to independently compile installation construction organization designs and special plans.
- Able to review MEP drawings, manage technical changes and provide on-site technical guidance.
- Familiar with local project acceptance standards and fire detection processes to ensure compliant MEP system delivery.
Technical skills and language
- Skilled in CAD and BIM software for MEP pipeline coordination and optimization.
- Fluent English is required as the working language.
- Basic Arabic proficiency is preferred.
Leadership and coordination
- Control MEP installation costs and construction quality and resolve technical difficulties.
- Coordinate multinational MEP teams and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progress.
- Apply technical leadership and cross-departmental coordination throughout project delivery.
