Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate fit-out and joinery shop drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and fixing details.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, joinery factories, and site teams to resolve technical queries and support accurate execution.
• Prepare and submit material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documents.
• Review joinery materials and hardware, including timber, veneers, laminates, finishes, hinges, runners, and fixing systems.
• Provide technical support to site teams, identify technical issues and site discrepancies, and propose practical solutions.
• Coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior fit-out works.
• Inspect fit-out and joinery installations for dimensions, alignment, finishes, and workmanship against approved drawings and samples.
• Maintain documentation, follow up on consultant approvals, and assist the Project Manager and site team with technical coordination.

Requirements

• At least three years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE fit-out projects.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out, renovation, joinery, and custom furniture works.
• Ability to prepare and review detailed fit-out and joinery shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Knowledge of architectural finishes, gypsum works, ceilings, flooring, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry, wall panelling, and custom furniture.
• Knowledge of solid wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, and paint finishes and their suitability for different joinery applications.
• Understanding of joinery construction methods, hardware selection, fabrication tolerances, and installation requirements.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination is required.
• AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.

• Work location is in person.
