The role coordinates technical documentation, drawings, materials, fabrication, installation, and site support.
Responsibilities
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; prepare and coordinate detailed fit-out and joinery shop drawings.
- Coordinate technical queries with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, joinery factories, and site teams.
- Prepare material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documents; check dimensions and specifications before approval and production.
- Verify site measurements; coordinate fabrication and installation; provide site technical support and resolve discrepancies.
- Review materials and hardware, coordinate MEP services, and propose practical solutions based on site conditions.
- Inspect installations against approved drawings and samples; maintain documentation and follow up on consultant approvals.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE fit-out projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, renovation, joinery, custom furniture, and detailed shop drawings.
- Knowledge of finishes, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry, wall panelling, and custom furniture.
- Knowledge of solid wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, paint finishes, joinery methods, hardware, fabrication tolerances, and installation requirements.
- Knowledge of MEP coordination and proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
