Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Review and coordinate architectural, structural and MEP drawings; prepare and coordinate fit-out and joinery shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, joinery factories and site teams to resolve technical queries.
• Prepare material submittals, RFIs, method statements and technical documents.
• Check dimensions, material specifications and details before approval and production; verify site measurements and coordinate fabrication and installation.
• Review joinery material and hardware submittals, including timber, veneers, laminates, finishes, hinges, runners and fixing systems.
• Provide site technical support, resolve discrepancies, coordinate MEP services and propose practical solutions.
• Inspect installations for dimensions, alignment, finishes and workmanship against approved drawings and samples.
• Maintain documentation, follow up consultant approvals and assist the project manager and site team.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE fit-out projects.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering or a related field.
• Strong technical knowledge of fit-out, renovation, joinery and custom furniture.
• Ability to prepare and review detailed fit-out and joinery shop drawings for fabrication and installation.
• Knowledge of architectural finishes and fit-out components, including ceilings, flooring, doors, kitchens, wardrobes, cabinetry and wall panelling.
• Knowledge of solid wood, MDF, plywood, veneers, laminates, paint finishes, joinery methods, hardware, fabrication tolerances and installation requirements.
• MEP coordination knowledge and AutoCAD proficiency are required; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
• Understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements and consultant procedures.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem-solving skills; able to meet deadlines under pressure.
• Strong Dubai fit-out and joinery coordination experience is preferred.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 6,000 per month.
