Role overview

Operational delivery and technical accounting

• Oversee timely, accurate fund accounting and reporting across Real Assets mandates; coordinate onboarding of new clients, structures, and products.
• Ensure compliance with service-level agreements, deadlines, procedures, and regulatory requirements; manage capacity, resources, and work forecasts.
• Provide senior technical oversight across fund, holding company, and SPV structures, including reporting, consolidations, accounting judgments, complex transactions, and fund structures.
• Partner with clients, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex accounting and reporting matters.

Risk, leadership, and client growth

• Oversee portfolio risks, escalations, incidents, complaints, controls, procedures, and governance; deliver KPI reporting and risk insights.
• Build and develop accounting teams and leaders; establish training and onboarding programs and lead projects that improve efficiency and scalability.
• Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams to promote knowledge sharing and consistent execution.
• Lead client governance and escalation discussions; support presentations, prospect meetings, due diligence, business development, and regular client visits.

Required qualifications and experience

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent) and a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in fund administration, asset management, financial services, or public accounting, including substantial leadership responsibility.
• Deep Real Assets accounting experience across Real Estate and Infrastructure fund, holding company, and SPV structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, applicable local and European GAAPs, fund and SPV accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, investor allocations, capital activity, valuations, and complex multi-entity transactions.
• Proven team leadership, client relationship management, client onboarding, operating-model implementation, service-level management, and global team-extension experience.
• Understanding of governance, internal controls, operational risk, escalation, incident management, and KPI-based improvement.
• Ability to develop technical capability, establish training and best practices, lead change, and foster accountability and collaboration.

Preferred skills and knowledge

• Yardi, Investran, Workiva, eFront, or comparable fund accounting and financial-reporting platforms are advantageous.
• ADGM regulatory environment knowledge is advantageous but not essential.
