Your role

• Support redesign and delivery of operating-model and product change, including analysis, testing, and implementation.
• Map current-state processes and gather data on friction and cost.
• Support target-state process, control, and handoff design.
• Draft business requirements and documentation for IT and Transformation Office review.
• Build and execute test scripts, run UAT, and track defects to resolution.
• Document client-specific processes and requirements and evidence differences from the standard model.
• Prepare analysis and materials for client pitches, proofs of concept, and solution design.
• Support fund-structure implementation, new client setup, onboarding, and accounting-platform transitions.
• Maintain a reuse inventory of what was built, for whom, and who else may benefit.
• Prepare training materials and support Operations through go-live and adoption.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports.

About you

• At least 4 years of private assets accounting or operations experience at a fund administrator, fund manager, or comparable organization.
• Technical knowledge of private assets processes, including general ledger, capital activity, fee calculations, financial statements, and investor reporting.
• Exposure to process improvement, system testing, or project work, or a clear appetite to develop in that area.
• Comfort engaging operational teams and technology partners.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interrogate data and evidence recommendations.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work items.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel; exposure to reporting, workflow, or automation tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; pursuing a professional accounting designation is an advantage.

Salary

• The stated salary range is $111,000–$133,000 CAD; no pay cadence is specified.
• The position is for an existing vacancy.
