Operational consulting role supporting procurement and supply chain work through day-to-day use of Oracle ERP/SCM.
This is not an Oracle implementation or technical development role.
Responsibilities
- Support procurement and supply chain activities, records, requisitions, purchase orders, supplier information, and purchasing workflows in Oracle.
- Monitor open orders, supplier deliveries, outstanding requirements, and operational performance using Oracle reports and dashboards.
- Help business users use Oracle consistently; identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and process issues.
- Analyze operational data, trends, exceptions, bottlenecks, lead times, PO status, supplier performance, and delivery progress.
- Prepare management reports and actionable summaries for the Head of Supply Chain.
- Coordinate system updates with procurement, supply chain, finance, and other stakeholders; support process and reporting improvements.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional experience in procurement and/or supply chain operations.
- Strong hands-on Oracle ERP/SCM experience in an operational environment.
- Understanding of procurement processes, purchasing workflows, supplier management, and supply chain operations.
- Experience with Oracle standard reports, dashboards, and built-in analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving; able to present insights to senior supply chain stakeholders.
Preferred experience
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defence, or another complex industrial environment is preferred.
- Exposure to KPI reporting, business-user Oracle adoption, or improving operational efficiency, data quality, or reporting is preferred.
