Senior Business Controller - French Speaker

Role overview

Financial planning and reporting

• Lead annual budgeting and financial planning aligned with strategic objectives; develop budgets with operational managers and maintain rolling forecasts.
• Drive month-end closing and analyze actuals against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.
• Prepare group, management, and departmental reporting packages and executive dashboards.
• Partner with commercial teams on contract renewals, pricing structures, and financial negotiations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational improvements.

Controls and project finance

• Design and maintain internal control frameworks and assess compliance with corporate policies and financial regulations.
• Support financial, quality, and internal audits as a primary point of contact.
• Use SAP S/4HANA to optimize processes and automate reporting and control workflows.
• Track project and contract profitability; validate revenue, margins, and cost variances with project managers.
• Monitor project costs, flag potential budget overruns, and execute corrective action plans.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in business controlling, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA FI/CO experience is required.
• Deep knowledge of financial principles, risk management, internal controls, and project accounting.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data automation, and proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
