IVVQ Engineer – Radio Communication Systems

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Integrate hardware, software, and radio communication subsystems in laboratory and pre-deployment environments.
• Define test strategies and procedures and conduct verification activities based on system requirements.
• Execute system-level and end-to-end functional, performance, and robustness testing.
• Analyze test results, identify failure root causes, and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Maintain requirements-to-test traceability and verification evidence; validate system behavior against operational and customer requirements.
• Support verification, qualification, and acceptance milestones; maintain test platform configuration, version control, and availability.
• Support deployment and testing at customer sites, including on-site verification, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing; interface with customers.
• Produce and maintain IVVQ procedures, test reports, and technical documentation; support deployment with existing Ansible playbooks and automation tools.

Candidate requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in IVVQ, system integration, verification and validation, or system-level testing.
• Strong experience with radio communication systems or other complex hardware/software communication systems, including hands-on integration and troubleshooting.
• Experience defining and executing test procedures and managing verification evidence; strong understanding of requirements traceability.
• Experience with customer-facing projects, deployment, or site acceptance testing.
• Good working knowledge of Linux-based environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Valid UAE driving license and strong English communication skills; French is a plus.

Preferred experience and tools

• Defence, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical systems experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Exposure to virtualization, Docker, and Ansible is advantageous; deep Ansible development experience is not required.
