Position objective
Supervise team activities during shifts to maintain standards for people, products, cleanliness, and guest experience.
Team and guest experience
- Lead by example and treat team members and guests respectfully.
- Respond promptly to shift issues, provide team direction, and train and monitor new team members.
- Help maintain team coverage and support different positions during busy periods.
- Model hospitality behaviors and resolve guest service complaints promptly.
Store operations and cash
- Enforce operating standards and ensure products and packaging are stocked and merchandised.
- Manage shift cash procedures and process payments, receipts, refunds, and change when needed.
- Maintain operational efficiency, ensure duties are completed, and assist with driving sales and transactions.
- Keep current on product launches and promotions; complete required shift documentation.
- Check store technical equipment and keep checkout areas clean and orderly.
Health and safety
- Follow safe work practices and use required protective equipment.
- Report injuries, accidents, unsafe conditions, security incidents, and health and safety policy contraventions.
- Ensure health and safety policies and related documentation are followed during the shift.
Requirements
- Know, understand, and follow safe work practices and procedures.
- Use required personal protective equipment or clothing.
- Follow health and safety policies, including incident documentation and reporting.
- Follow store policies, including cash, meal and break, and food safety policies.
