The position is full time, non-management, and not remote.
Kitchen operations
- Supervise and coordinate cooks and kitchen workers; assist them with tasks and provide needed items.
- Determine food presentation and create decorative displays; ensure proper portions, arrangement, and garnishes.
- Monitor preparation quantities and notify Food and Beverage staff about menu specials and out-of-stock items.
- Prepare special meals or substitutions; monitor kitchen supplies and food stock.
- Maintain kitchen food-safety logs, check food quality, and report products that fail specifications.
Team and service responsibilities
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company and safety procedures, complete safety training, and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Address guest service needs, communicate professionally, maintain positive working relationships, and support team goals.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and uphold quality standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- Preferred related work experience: 4 to 6 years.
- Preferred supervisory experience: at least 2 years.
- Preferred education: technical, trade, or vocational school degree.
- No license or certification is specified.
Physical demands
The role involves standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, or place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.
