Rooms and Guest Services Operations role at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.

Reservations and room control
- Assign rooms based on guest requests and preferences where possible; pre-register guests and prepare room keys.
- Coordinate pre-registration and check-in for groups and communicate room or departure-date changes to relevant staff.
- Confirm reservations and cancellations, review out-of-order rooms, check rates against market prices, and document exceptions.
- Identify overbooking, control duplicate reservations, block rooms, and prepare daily reports.
Guest arrivals and service
- Process guest arrivals and departures, activate room keys, obtain and verify payment, and complete guest paperwork.
- Review and adjust guest billing and follow up on guest requests or problems to support satisfaction.
- Receive, record, and relay messages accurately; coordinate tasks with other departments.
Standards and working conditions
- Follow company policies, quality standards, confidentiality requirements, and professional appearance standards.
- Use computers and/or point-of-sale systems; the role involves extended periods standing, sitting, and moving.
- Independently move, lift, carry, pull, or place loads up to 4.5 kilograms.
