Full-time, non-management spa position at St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The role is not remote and provides massage and body treatments to hotel guests.
Treatment and guest care
- Provide massage services and body treatments using scrubs, wraps, and/or hydrotherapy.
- Assess guest needs and screen for contraindications before treatment.
- Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and check in during service to support comfort and safety.
- Keep current with relevant massage techniques and modalities.
Spa operations and service standards
- Prepare and maintain the workstation, treatment room, linens, supplies, and equipment; clean and sterilize instruments.
- Promote spa and salon services and related retail products; follow the daily schedule.
- Follow company procedures, report safety incidents and inappropriate guest behavior, and escalate concerns to a supervisor.
- Maintain professional appearance, guest service standards, confidentiality, and company property; perform other reasonable assigned duties.
Required qualifications and capabilities
- A current state or regional massage license or certification is required, in accordance with regional requirements.
- Maintain current skills and licensure and complete required safety training and certifications.
- No supervisory experience is required.
- The role involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking and handling objects with precise coordination; lifting or moving items under 10 pounds without assistance.
Desirable qualifications
- Related vocational, technical, or trade-school education is desirable.
- At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
