GXO People Campus is recruiting a hands-on Supervisor Hygiene Operative for its Northampton Grange Park site.
The role leads hygiene operatives and ensures cleaning standards, safety requirements, and operational objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the hygiene team in maintaining site cleanliness and hygiene.
- Organise workloads and cleaning schedules to meet required standards and frequencies.
- Carry out hygiene inspections, monitor quality, and take corrective action.
- Train and coach team members on hygiene, safe working, and correct equipment and chemical use.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies, COSHH regulations, and site hygiene requirements.
- Manage equipment, consumables, and stock; build relationships with site stakeholders and operational teams.
Requirements
- Previous experience in cleaning, hygiene, facilities, or a similar operational environment.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience and ability to motivate and develop others.
- Good understanding of professional cleaning standards and quality control.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements; COSHH awareness is advantageous.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good IT skills, hands-on approach, and excellent attention to detail.
Hours
- Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00.
Pay and benefits
- Hourly pay is £14.36.
