Position summary

The Logistics Analyst develops actionable analyses to improve operational productivity and efficiency.

The role is scheduled for second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Typical duties

  • Prepare operational analyses of services, projects, and business functions.
  • Maintain databases, extract information, and develop performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Research performance and productivity data, error rates, and root causes; identify operational issues.
  • Prepare reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and supporting documents.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools using systems and software.
  • Conduct supplier and location waste walks to identify cost-saving ideas.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • At least one year of comprehensive supply-chain or logistics experience.
  • Expertise preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Access; ability to extract data from SAP and use Excel/Access for reporting.
  • Experience supporting WMS, order-management applications, and database systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros.

Preferred qualifications

  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Data mining, development, statistical analysis, query writing, and solutions-based reporting skills are desirable.
  • Fundamental understanding of warehouse operations and supply-chain structure is desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and time management are desirable.

Work schedule

  • Second shift, Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
