Develop actionable analyses to improve the productivity and efficiency of logistics operations.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operational analyses of services, projects, and business actions.
- Maintain databases, extract information, and develop performance metrics and scorecards.
- Analyze performance and productivity data, error rates, and root causes; monitor reports for operational issues.
- Develop reporting tools and create reports, charts, graphs, and presentations to support business decisions.
- Analyze data for modeling, network optimization, and supply-chain redesign.
- Deliver productivity-savings and engineered-solutions analytics for the account.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
- At least two years of comprehensive supply-chain or logistics experience.
- Expertise preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP data extraction, and using Excel or Access to develop reports.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros; experience converting raw data into usable formats.
- Support experience with WMS, order-management applications, and database systems.
Preferred qualifications
- Availability to travel up to 10% of the time.
- Problem-solving, statistical analysis, querying, data-mining, and development skills.
- Ability to create solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and supply-chain structure; strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
