Role overview

The Material Planning Analyst develops actionable analyses to improve operational productivity and efficiency.

Schedule: 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare operational analyses of services, projects, and general business actions.
  • Maintain databases, extract information, and develop performance metrics and scorecards.
  • Analyze performance, productivity data, error rates, root causes, and reports to identify operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and create reports, charts, presentations, and other analysis documents.
  • Collect and analyze data for modeling, network optimization, and supply chain redesign.
  • Develop and deliver productivity savings and engineered-solutions analytics for the account.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
  • At least one year of comprehensive supply chain or logistics experience.
  • Expertise preparing, importing, and manipulating spreadsheet, database, and presentation information.
  • Microsoft Office experience; ability to extract SAP data and develop reports with Excel or Access.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including macros, and experience converting raw data into usable formats.
  • Support experience with WMS, order management applications, and database systems.

Preferred qualifications

  • Availability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Problem-solving, statistical analysis, query creation, data mining, and development skills.
  • Ability to create solutions-based reports that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Fundamental comprehension of warehouse operations and supply chain structure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
