Assist housekeeping management with daily operations and coordinate work across Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
Housekeeping operations
- Run sold-room reports, verify room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritize cleaning, and update departing-room status.
- Document and resolve room discrepancies with the Front Desk; communicate room-assignment changes and shift issues.
- Complete required paperwork and assist with daily housekeeping activities.
Team and guest service
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
- Maintain positive working relationships and meet quality expectations.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience preferred; no license or certification is listed.
Physical and safety requirements
- Follow safety and security procedures, report hazards and incidents, and complete safety training.
- Move objects up to 55 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance; push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces.
- Stand, sit, kneel, walk, bend, twist, reach, and manipulate objects for extended periods during a work shift.
- Use computers or point-of-sale systems and read and visually verify work-related information.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role at the Jeddah hotel; the posting states that the position is not remote.
