Position Summary
Greet guests and inform them of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.
Open doors and assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval and transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and the designated bell area.
Guest Services Duties
- Assist guests and visitors in and out of vehicles, including loading and unloading luggage.
- Provide directions and arrange transportation such as taxis, shuttle buses, and limousine service, recording advance requests as needed.
- Dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed and communicate parking procedures to guests.
- Follow up with guests to ensure their requests or problems have been resolved to their satisfaction.
Team and Compliance Duties
- Serve as a departmental role model and assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions.
- Maintain a clean professional uniform and appearance and keep proprietary information confidential.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Less than 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No license or certification required.
Physical Requirements
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
- Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and up and down stairs or service ramps.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
